Spaulding Lake Trail is located near to Nevada City, CA. This isn't a very well marked trail. I followed the map on AllTrails, but it is still easy to get lost. Go until the end of the trail. There, you will see the water coming from the mountains going down to the lake. I found this cute sit area with a fire pit, as I show it in one of the pictures below.
